Parliament is yet to be convinced on sending troops

Dulger, speaking at ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) reception celebrating the second anniversary of the party, said that the top state officials seemed to have a common viewpoint concerning Iraq, noting that on which mandate would Turkish troops be stationed in Iraq was a very important issue.

When asked if he knew anything about the letter of inquiry sent by Turkish government to US administration, he said no, but assured that Turkish soldiers would not be in Iraq to receive orders from some other country.
He said they were yet to be convinced that sending troops to Iraq benefited Turkey, noting that they were still examining the information.
