‘Universities and YOK need reform’

In his declaration, Erdin expressed, "“We are against the approach of YOK and universities insisting on the continuation of YOK with its existing position for they are against the behaviours of the government. We think that this kind of polarisation should be avoided. We call the academics and public not to take sides in this polarisation and to establish a third alternative position for a democratic, secular, productive and autonomous university."

Erdin noted that academics should take part in decision-making processes at their universities.
