Turkish Initiative to Cancel Azeri Visa Regime

It should be noted amendments to the current visa regime were forwarded during the formal visit paid to Baku by A.Sezer, the President of Turkey, last September.

Azerbaijan costs $40 whilst Azeri citizens can get free-of-charge visas in the Embassy of Turkey or pay $10 in the Turkish airports. Turkey offers to unify payment for visa. Mamed Kuliev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey, also backs up such an idea to increase in-flow of tourists to Azerbaijan.
