Gasprom met yesterday with the BOTAS’ management

In comments to journalists following a 3.5-hour meeting with the Russians, Botas General Director Mehmet Bilgic said that the meeting had involved discussions involving the outline of the agreement with Gasexport and Gasprom.

For now, technical discussions are about the efforts to evaluate the issues stemming from the agreement applications for years.

Bilgic stated that price revisions commensurate with market price fluctuations would be implemented during defined periods of the agreement. Bilgic pointed out that the discussions, which are the continuation of discussions held last September, will continue today and will include the subject of excluding the Turusgas firm from involvement in the gas purchase deal involving Russia via Bulgaria.
