Turkish Firm Announces Pipe Factory in Azerbaijan

Koc explained that Dizayn will co-fund the project on a 50/50 basis along with Azerbaijani investors and that the bulk of the production will consist of pipes for natural gas, potable water and sewer. The spokesperson went on to say that the factory, which will have an annual production capacity of twenty thousand tons, will cost $15 million, employ 120 people and will add $30 million to the country’s economy. The factory’s capacity will fulfill all of the country’s substructure pipe requirements and also allow for substantial maritime exportation via the Caspian Sea. Production will begin in September of this year.
