Kabul: Rumsfeld arrives in Afghanistan

Rumsfeld watched Afghan soldiers in training at the base put on a display of their combat skills, running skills and handling of mortars and small arms. He also met a group of US Special Forces troops at the center and told them that what they were doing in Afghanistan, the US-led coalition forces will be doing in Iraq. "I expect many of you will end up there," the defense secretary said.
