Karachai Turks in US Send Letter to Turkish Government

The letter, signed by association chairman Ural Yesil and secretary-general Figen Tabakci, recounted the activities of the association. "Our association (the American Karachai-Kavkaz Benevolent Association) has been serving Turkish people living in America since 1989. Our purpose is to transmit our language, religion and culture to our people and especially to our youth living here as well as to represent and introduce our country in America to the best of our ability."
