Mistaken for looters, Turkish journalists attacked in Mosul

SKY-Turk journalist Serdar Akinan, Radikal reporter Ahmet Sik and Vatan journalist Ilker Akgungor survived the attack without injury. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that preparations were being made to bring the injured journalists to Turkey. Erdogan said it was hard to say anything definitive about the identity of the attackers because of the instability currently being experienced in the region.
