Suspected U.S. missile falls in eastern Turkey
Sukru Kocatepe, governor of Urfa province, told Reuters an object believed to be another Tomahawk had landed in fields near a village, gouging a deep hole without exploding.
Turkey has refused to allow U.S. forces to cross its territory to attack Iraq but has given permission for overflights.
Urfa province lies under the likely flight path of aircraft or missiles coming from the west.
