Iran’s Shamkhani meets with Turkey official

In the meeting, Shamkhani and Head of Planning Department of Turkish Defense Ministry General Sardar Doulgar discussed issues of mutual interest.

Shamkhani expressed his ministry’s readiness to expand relations and cooperation with Turkey defense ministry and said Turkey should give an especial place for military cooperation with Iran.

Iran’s ambassador to Ankara and Iranian military attache were also present in the meeting.

Shamkhani on an invitation by his Algerian counterpart is travelling to Algiers for a three-day visit at the head of a high-ranking delegation.
