Akayev Supporters Block Highway in Kemen

About 700 people gathering in Akayev’s hometown Kemen have declared that they do not recognize the leadership of interim president Kurmanbek Bakiyev. It is reported that about 150 pro-Akayev supporters have blocked the highway linking Kemin to capital Bishkek. Kemin is about 80 km from the capital Bishkek.
