Radio Echo Moscow: Akayev is in Moscow

Although the report has not been confirmed by Russian and Kyrgyz authorities, the Radio backs up its claim.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in a statement in Armenia yesterday announced that if Akayev wants to go to Russian, they would not turn him away.

Meanwhile, Russian news agencies have announced that about 500 people are heading to the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek to show their support for Akayev.
