British Troops to Remain in Iraq till 2006

The report by the House of Commons Defense Committee says the US-led coalition forces are not sufficiently prepared to fight against resisters. The Committee heard from experts and visitors to the region and determined that until the Iraqi government’s own security forces are prepared, 8,000 British troops would remain in the region.
