Last 3 French in Guantanamo Freed
The French Ministry of Justice issued a statement regarding the release of the French nationals and informed that they were taken to a prison to await the decision by a judge regarding whether or not they will be released.
The names of the French detainees previously announced by the Ministry are Ridouane Khalid, Khalid bin Mustafa and Mustak Ali Patel.
If the judge decides that the detainees intentionally went to Afghanistan in order to participate in Al-Qaeda training camps, a legal investigation into the claims will ensue.
Four French suspects who were previously released remain in custody because of proved links with terrorist networks.
