Despite the notable de-escalation in the last two days, several communities witnessed shelling incidents, including Afs, Sarmin, Maaret Elnaasan – Maaret Elhaski, Nayrab, Sarja, Bara, Ftireh, Kafr Haya, Ruwaiha and Maarbalit communities in Idleb; Kafr Taal, Kafr Amma, Tadil, Atareb and Abzemo in western Aleppo; Ankawi community in western Hama; Niddeh community in the A’zaz district in northern Aleppo, with no casualties were reported.

Since the beginning of the escalation of shelling/airstrikes in Idelb and western Aleppo over 68,100 individuals from 91 communities have been displaced from greater Idleb and Aleppo to IDP sites and communities in North Idleb while some families crossed to the outskirts of Aleppo. Notable departures include 18,000 individuals from the Ariha sub-district, 14,250 from the Daret Azza sub-district, and 8,000 from the Sarmin sub-district. In 162 communities, Key Informants reported 56,691 arrivals. These arrivals encompass 11,995 IND in Dana, 10,098 IND in Afrin, and 7,877 in Maaret Tamsrin, sub-districts. Out of the total 56,691 IDP arrivals, there were 21,342 arrivals to existing IDP sites and new reception centers in Idleb and Aleppo. 2,742 of the IDPs are housed in 12 previously established Reception Centers which were reopened or extended earlier in the year due to the earthquake. There were 5,130 IDPs were reported in four newly established sites in Afrin.

Besides, 916 individuals are reported to have moved back to their homes in Idleb, Dana, and Jisr-Ash-Shugur sub-districts. While the majority of IDPs plan to return home within a week if the situation improves.
