Istanbul Ataturk Airport Closed to Air Traffic

The State Airports Authority Istanbul Regional Director Irfan Balta has announced that the airport would be closed to the air traffic until 11:00 a.m. to clear the runway of planes belonging to private airlines and because of the harsh winds thrashing the runways.
