UN Lifts Entry Ban in Aceh

Joel Boutroue, the leader of the search and rescue activities run by the UN in Ache, said they removed the ban that was applied to prevent aid convoys traveling from Maden through the capital of Banda Ache from being attacked. Boutroue said the ban was implemented for only 24 hours and that security has now been regained. He added, "There were speculations about attacks, but there has not been an actual case so far."
