French hospital official: "Arafat is not dead"

The spokesman for the Percy military hospital made a statement outside the hospital and said, "Arafat is not dead. He has been in the Intensive Care Unit since Wednesday afternoon. His wife is with him now and he is alive."
The spokesman did not answer to reporters.
