Laden Threatens to Retaliate

The full speech of Bin Laden’s 18-minute video, first broadcast last Friday, has been rebroadcast today on some internet sites.

Remarking that Bush "did not listen to advice that a war to Iraq would be endless," Bin Laden said, "Black gold (oil) has made him blind and made him put his individual interests above the general American interests; so he waged the war and many people died, American money was wasted and Bush has been dragged into a quagmire in Iraq that threatens his future."

Last Friday, in the same cassette, he warned that an attack similar to September 11 could be plotted.
