Public Polls: US Allies Want to See Kerry Elected

The British paper, The Guardian, wrote yesterday that newspaper polls in Australia, Great Britain, Canada, France, Japan, Mexico, Spain and South Korea show that the majority of people living in these countries want to see Kerry as the new president rather than George W. Bush.

Among the allies included in the survey, only Russia and Israel give support to Bush, the Guardian wrote. According to the outcome of the poll conducted in ten countries, 54 percent of participants support Kerry, while only 27 percent support Bush.
