Freed Turkish Driver Returns to Turkey

Sources said that the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad allocated a car for Top so that he could return to Turkey safely.

Top was abducted in north of Baghdad on August 5th by Iraqi insurgents who threatened to behead him if his employer would not withdraw from Iraq. He was released yesterday after his Turkish company, Atahan Logistics International, made public that it halted its activities in Iraq.
