Gas Problem Is Solved

Stegniy added that a crowded group of Russian businessmen would come to Turkey with Putin.

Ankara Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Peter V. Stegniy said that a stage of signing a memorandum between Botas and Gasprom -whose relationships had become an important problem between the two countries- has been attained.

Having provided information to Ankara editors of the Turkish dailies before Russian President Vlademir Putin’s visit to Turkey, Stegniy announced that a result was obtained the day before at the meetings between the two institutions. Stegniy said that Turkey’s and Russia’s benefits overlapped at the energy sector and emphasized that the important one for Russia was the economic benefit.

In respect of the Russian and Turkish businessmen Stegniy said that the businessmen and the investors got ahead of the politicians and diplomats and put forth that Putin was coming with 54 reporters and a huge group of businessmen.
