Seizure of Azeri Aircraft

Turkish company Saka-Korkmaz A.S. could not collect its credit of 8 million dollars resulting from a fibre plant it constructed in Azerbaijan 12 years ago and also from wheat flour export, although Suleyman Demirel, then-President of Turkey, wrote a letter to Haydar Aliyev.

The company also seized the two airplanes, which was bringing passengers to Trabzon.
