First Big Step for TRNC
The decision of OIC to be announced in its final communique, was taken upon the initiatives of Turkey and TRNC. The organization had yesterday, named Turkey’s candidate Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, its new Secretary General.
The organization is also expected to make a call to the world to remove the embargo imposed on TRNC.
TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat arrived in Istanbul to attend the 31st Term Foreign Ministers meeting of OIC.
