Car Bombs Shake Iraq: 15 Dead

A U.S. military spokesman in the northern Iraqi city of Bakuba said a bomb-laden vehicle that exploded at the entrance of a U.S. military base killed four Iraqis and one American soldier. The spokesman added that three U.S. soldiers were wounded in the blast, while an Iraqi police officer, Ali Hussein, reported that 11 Iraqis were injured.

Elsewhere, in Mosul, a car bomb set off in front of the Municipal building this morning claimed ten lives and wounded nearly 100.
