Talat: World Should Do Business with Us

After returning from his US visit, Talat delivered a speech during a meeting held by the Cypriots Association of Science, Education, Health and Solidarity in Istanbul. Talat said that his visit marked the first time a Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister had gone to the US to meet the Secretary of State. In addition, United Nations (UN) representatives who were formerly reluctant to meet with the TRNC Prime Ministry, met with Talat. He added that the US appreciated the efforts the Turkish Cypriots made in trying to resolve the Cyprus issue.
