Russia’s veto benefical for Turkish Cypriot side

LEFKOSA (AA) – Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said on Thursday that prevention of the United Nations Security Council’s Cyprus resolution by the veto of Russia was beneficial for Turkish Cypriot side.

Holding a press conference, Denktas said that the same resolution could be adopted under different conditions with the contribution of Turkish side in case of an agreement.

Denktas said that their attitude about the resolution could be evaluated according to the conditions of that time.
