Turkey condemns attacks in Uzbekistan
ANKARA (AA) – Releasing a statement on Tuesday, the MFA expressed profound sorrow over killing of many innocent people, emphasizing, "Turkey condemns all acts of terrorism disregarding their motives."
"On numerous occasions, Turkey has advocated that the countries are obliged to co-operate with each other for success of fight against terrorism," it said.
Noting that Turkey had been commiserating with Uzbekistan, the MFA extended condolences to relatives of terrorism victims on behalf of the Turkish people.
A total of 19 people were killed and 26 others were wounded in two suicide attacks in Uzbekistan on Sunday and Monday.
