575 Million Income Through Exports Of Hazelnuts
Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that Turkey had been exporting hazelnuts to 80 countries.
They said that Turkey exported 190 thousand 820 tons of hazelnuts to the European Union (EU) countries, 27 thousand 624 tons of hazelnuts to other European countries, 22 thousand 124 tons of hazelnuts to overseas countries and 8 thousand 881 tons of hazelnuts to other countries.
In the same period of the previous export season, Turkey had exported 250 thousand 504 tons of hazelnuts and obtained an income of 623 million 75 thousand 773 U.S. dollars.
