50 Lost in African Boat Tragedy
Agency France Press (AFP) reported that 28 people were rescued from the boat, though the remaining 50 of the boat’s 78 total passengers remain unaccounted for. Rescue operations are ongoing.
No cause for the incident has yet been found, but an abnormally strong wind is suspected of causing the incident.
