37 foreigners travelling illegally captured

AYVACIK (AA) – Gendarmerie teams intercepted 37 foreigners who were trying to proceed to abroad illegally in Ayvacik town in western province of Canakkale.

Sources said on Wednesday that Gendarmerie teams had stopped a lorry in the Assos coastal road in Ayvacik, capturing 28 Somalians, 6 Mauritanians and 1 Palestinian.

Officials said those foreigners would be deported.
