2010 is eligible for Turkey’s EU membership

ANKARA (AA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said today that if Turkey iplement the EU criteria, negotiation date may start in 2004 and 2010 seemed suitable for membership.

Responding questions of daily Kurier, Gul stated that Turkey had for 50 years relations with the EU and it was benefit for the Union instead of being a loan.
