11th session of Cyprus talks to be held tomorrow

LEFKOSA (AA) – Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas and Greek Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos and the Turkish and Greek Cypriot delegations will convene tomorrow to hold the 11th session of peace talks, which started on February 19 and aims to find a solution to Cyprus dispute until May 1.

In the meetings held on Friday, Secretary-General’s special envoy for Cyprus Alvaro de Soto had submitted a four-paragraph text including the Turkish and Greek sides’ opinions and had asked the sides to complete the negotiations on those issues until Wednesday.

The sides are expected to pass onto take-give process in the negotiations as of March 11.

Greek Cypriot side rejected all the proposals presented by the Turkish Cypriot side in the past 10 talks.
