10 people injured after car strikes pedestrians in Berlin


BERLIN

At least 10 people were injured after a car drove into pedestrians in Berlin’s city center, authorities said on Wednesday.

“A man has driven his car into a group of people. It is not yet clear whether it was an accident or an intentional action,” German police said on Twitter.

The driver was arrested soon after the incident.

Public broadcaster RBB said at least 10 people were injured, some of them seriously, and were shifted to hospitals.
