Emre Tukur who represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 as part of Klips ve Onlar has passed away.
Pianist and former member of Klips ve Onlar, Emre Tukur has passed away at the age of 55. The musician who represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen, was best known as an accomplished pianist and taught the instrument in Turkey.
Klips ve Onlar competed in Eurovision 1986 with “Halley”, they placed 9th in Norway scoring 53 points. Emre would go on to try to represent Turkey at the contest two more times in 1988 and 1989.
