According to Venezuelan News Outlet, La Istorya de Venezuela, Mr. Martin Diaz Alvarez have
been making rounds from Mexico to Venezuela and rounding up community leaders in an effort
to get sports up in the regions.

Because soccer is such a huge sport in South America, Martin Diaz Alvarez has been hand in
hand on getting FIFA-sanctioned foundations on helping out teach the sport in under developed
areas in Mexico, El Salvador and Columbia. The effort is to maintain the youth active and be out
of danger especially in high-risk areas.
"The purpose is to drive the kids out of the gutter and in to the stadiums." Diaz told a news
reporter earlier this week in Mexico. "If no one is going to do it for them, then it is going to be
hard for them to find their own way." He added.
The truth is, even if Martin Diaz Alvarez' effort to utilize the youth and get back to the
community by creating opportunities, it is still a bit hard to progress because of the rampant
problems the countries in South America is facing. A good portion of 74% of the youth do not
partake in community services that charity foundations have set up and just chose to work and
earn from various jobs etc. That is why it is very important that the focus of the foundations is
to strategize by using sports.

Right now, the news are positive on the foundations that Martin Diaz Alvarezhas set up on key
countries in South America, the various foundations and charitable institutions have open doors
for more than 80% of the youth involved in under developed areas. Connecting sports to
education have made strides and will continue to grow as long as it is steered in the right
direction.
